     This website describes in situ and ex situ bioremediation.  It goes over how each method works and when it can be applied.

     This website talks about bioremediation in general.  It answers questions like: What is bioremediation?, Why use bioremediation?, Will bioremediation work at every site? It also has some good diagrams.

     This website has some good data on oil spills.  It is full of charts and graphs to illustrate the data.  It includes information regarding the causes of oil spills, the location of major oil spills, the number of spills per year, and the size of the spills.

     This website has some good information about ex situ bioremediation. It talks about the requirements and some bioremediation terms.  Also, at the bottom of the page there are links to each type of solid phase bioremediation and slurry phase bioremediation.  These links are also very good.

     This website has some very good information about the Exxon Valdez oil spill. It talks about how the spill occurred, how the evironment was affected, how it was cleaned up, etc.  There are some great pictures if you click on Spill Photos in the navigation.$33
